Overview
This website operates a U.S.-based online store for WordPress plugins and related services. All transactions are processed in U.S. Dollars (USD). We do not target or market to residents of the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom. If we later expand to those regions, we will update this policy and add any required disclosures and contacts before doing so. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights available to you.
NOTICE AT COLLECTION (California)
We collect the following categories of personal information for the purposes and retention periods shown. We do not “sell” personal information and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Identifiers (name, email, IP address, account ID) — used for account creation, orders, support, security, and required communications; retained for the life of the account and as needed for tax, security, or legal requirements (generally up to 7 years for order records; up to 90 days for most server logs).
- Customer records (billing details, order history) — used for purchases, receipts, tax, and license management; retained at least 7 years for tax and accounting.
- Commercial information (products purchased, license status) — used to fulfill orders, deliver downloads/updates, and manage licenses; retained for the life of the license and up to 7 years thereafter for records.
- Internet or network activity (page views, timestamps, referrers, basic device data) — used for security and service operation; retained up to 90 days in standard logs.
- Geolocation (coarse, derived from IP) — used for fraud prevention and tax/VAT compliance where applicable; retained within the above log periods.
- Communications (support messages and attachments) — used to provide support; retained up to 24 months after a ticket is closed unless longer needed for legal, security, or audit reasons.
- Sensitive data: we do not collect or store full payment card numbers or CVC codes. Payments are processed by our payment processors; we receive tokens/transaction IDs only. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics.
What we collect
- Account and order information you provide (name, email, billing details).
- Device/usage data when you browse (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, referrers).
- Order and license data (products, license keys/identifiers, update/activation checks, your site URL and version info necessary to validate licenses and provide updates).
- Support data (messages and any files you choose to send).
- Cookies and similar technologies needed to keep your session, operate the cart/checkout, secure the site, and measure aggregate performance.
How we use personal data
- Operate and secure the website and store.
- Process and fulfill orders; deliver downloads, updates, and license validation.
- Provide support and respond to requests.
- Send transactional messages (receipts, renewals, security notices, service changes).
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, regulatory).
- Improve products, documentation, and website functionality.
We do not display ads on this website and we do not use cross-context behavioral advertising.
Payments
Payments are handled by third-party processors. You submit payment details directly to them. We receive confirmation of payment, a masked token/transaction ID, and contact details needed to fulfill your order. If you save a payment method, the token is stored by the processor and referenced in your account.
Cookies and similar technologies
Functional cookies keep your session active, remember your cart, and help secure the site. Optional analytics may measure traffic in aggregate only. You can control cookies in your browser; blocking required cookies may prevent the site from working.
Licensing and updates
When you activate a license or the plugin checks for updates, your site may contact our servers and transmit license identifiers, product slugs, your site URL, and version information. We use this only to validate the license and deliver available updates. Deactivating the license or uninstalling the plugin stops these requests.
Sharing and disclosures
We share personal data with service providers who operate under our instructions to host and maintain the site, process payments, send emails, provide support tooling, perform security/anti-fraud functions, provide analytics, and support accounting or legal needs. We may disclose information to comply with law, protect rights and security, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention
- Orders/invoices: at least 7 years (tax/accounting).
- Support tickets: up to 24 months after closure unless longer needed.
- Server/security logs: up to 90 days.
- License/update check logs: up to 24 months after license expiration.
- Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe.
When retention is no longer necessary, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, updates, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your privacy choices
You can update account details in your account area and unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in those messages. If you disable certain cookies, parts of the site may not work. If you believe your account or license has been accessed without authorization, contact us through the support page on this site.
California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to: (1) know/access the personal information we collect, use, and disclose; (2) delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions; (3) correct inaccurate personal information; (4) opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (not applicable here because we do not sell or share as defined by law); (5) limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information (not applicable here because we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics). We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Submitting requests (CA and other U.S. states)
Submit requests through the contact/support page on this site with enough information to verify your identity and the nature of your request (access, deletion, correction, or portability). We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification.
Appeals (VA/CO/CT and similar)
We intend to honor valid requests and not deny them. If you believe a request has been wrongly denied, reply to our response with “APPEAL” in the subject line. We will review and respond within the time required by applicable law and provide a method to contact your state Attorney General where applicable.
Children’s privacy
This site and our products are intended for business users and site owners and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
International
We are U.S.-based and process data in the United States. We do not target or market to the EEA or UK at this time. If we later expand to those regions, we will update this policy to include required notices, legal bases, transfer safeguards, and contacts before collecting personal data from those residents.
Do Not Track; sale/share disclosure; financial incentives
Browsers may send a “Do Not Track” signal; there is no industry standard, so we do not alter our behavior in response. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not offer financial incentives or price differences in exchange for personal information.
Third-party links
Links to external sites and resources are provided for convenience. Their privacy practices are outside the scope of this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. The updated policy will be posted here with a new effective date.
